Donna is a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience working with children and adults in a medical and school setting. She has received specialized training in evidence-based assessments and treatments to address trauma and grief and works closely with clients and families to deliver compassionate, therapeutic trauma- and bereavement-informed care. In addition to providing therapeutic interventions, Donna also provides consultation to mental health providers who are working to get certified in Trauma and Grief Component Therapy.
Prior to joining The Trauma and Grief Center at The Hackett Center for Mental Health, Donna worked at The Trauma and Grief Clinic at Texas Children’s Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center as a clinical social worker.
Donna completed her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Houston.
