Lindsey Engelman
Lindsey Engelman is Director of Innovation Policy at the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute, where she leads policy strategy and analysis at the intersection of health care technology and mental health innovation. Her work focuses on ensuring that emerging technologies translate into meaningful improvements in mental health services and outcomes.
Prior to her current role, Lindsey helped build the Institute’s Innovation portfolio, contributing research, program management, and regulatory analysis to help the team cultivate a robust behavioral health innovation ecosystem.
Lindsey is committed to ensuring all populations benefit from health innovation. In 2024, she completed the College for Behavioral Health Leadership’s Equity-Grounded Leadership Fellowship. Previously, she worked at UT Dell Medical School, partnering with community organizations and Medicaid Managed Care Organizations to design, implement, and evaluate community-based programs, including aligning shared outcomes for value-based payment models.
Earlier in her career, Lindsey worked in multicultural and international education, where she built academic–community partnerships to support diverse programming initiatives. She holds a Master of Science in Community and Regional Planning, a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies.
