Rob Dominguez, LPC-S, brings over 14 years of practical experience working in community health centers developing, implementing, and leading integrated care practices. The focus of his experience has encompassed expanding holistic healthcare across large systems, in both primary care and behavioral health settings. As the Director of Cross System Integration, Rob leverages his expertise to help achieve transformative, sustainable changes to healthcare delivery systems across Texas.
Prior to joining the Meadows Institute, Rob served as the Associate Director of Integrated Systems of Care with Integral Care, the Local Mental Health Authority for Austin/Travis County. While at Integral Care, he contributed to developing several programs, including a first of its kind medication-assisted treatment program serving the indigent population, expanding access to opioid use treatment. Rob has participated in community health transformation projects, including a workgroup of the Mayor’s Challenge on Ending Veteran Suicide and the Austin State Hospital Brain Health Redesign – Information Technology Workgroup. Prior to Integral Care he was a Practice Manager at CommunityUnityCare, a federally qualified health center in Central Texas.
Rob is a veteran who served in the Army and then the Air Force Reserve. During his time in the Air Force, Rob was a flight medic in an Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. His service includes a deployment to Bosnia in support of Operation Joint Endeavor.
Rob holds a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University and an undergraduate degree in psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
