Robyn Douglas

Program Manager, The Trauma and Grief Center at The Hackett Center for Mental Health

Robyn completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Houston and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Robyn has professional research, clinical, and advocacy experience across a variety of community/mental health settings, including the Harris County Psychiatric Center, the Michael E. Debakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Texas Children’s Hospital’s heme-oncology/social work research department, and most recently, the Trauma and Grief Center at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Robyn has been involved in research addressing the intersections of racial identity, trauma, poverty, and community care. She is also passionate about improving mental health literacy and removing barriers to health and wellness resources for marginalized communities.
