Shelby has more than 20 years of experience in communications, public relations and branding. In her previous role as Senior Communications Director for Skanska USA, she oversaw communications and public relations efforts for the company’s Central U.S. region, securing positive media coverage in top U.S. media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, Modern Healthcare, Houston Chronicle and Dallas Morning News. She also launched the company’s nationwide Building What Matters campaign.
Shelby has also spent the last two decades volunteering for numerous non-profit organizations, including the I Have A Dream Foundation (Dallas), Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas, Junior League of Nashville, and St. Luke’s Community House (Nashville), and serves as a trustee for the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation. In addition, Shelby is the co-creator of Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30, an annual fundraiser benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation that has raised over $1.5 million since its inception.
