2025 Summer Internship Program
The Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute is pleased to announce the call for applications for our eleventh annual Summer Internship Program. The program aims to provide interns with experience at the intersection of policy and programs to create equitable systemic changes so all people in Texas, the nation, and the world can obtain the health care they need.
This summer, internship opportunities are available in the following teams for qualified candidates:
- Center for Child and Family Wellness
- Higher Education and Social Welfare
- K-12 Education
- Center for Health System Transformation
- Primary Care Team
- Paso del Norte Center (opportunity for hybrid remote/in-person if located in El Paso, Texas)
- Specialty Care: Adults Team
- Center for Justice and Health
- Communications & Philanthropy Team
- Communications Team
- Philanthropy Team
- Innovation Team
- Policy and Government Affairs Team
- Health and Public Safety Team
- Policy Team
The summer internship runs from June 2, 2025, to August 15, 2025, and will be conducted remotely, with some positions offering in-person opportunities regionally. Students who are either currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program, or individuals who possess a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of professional work experience, are encouraged to apply.
Application materials will be accepted from March 10 – March 21, 2025 at 12pm CST.
