Amber Newton

Amber has ten years of experience in accounting. She is extremely excited to rejoin the Meadows Institute accounting team and continue the Institute’s mission. She has held positions in public accounting where she gained knowledge in financial statement preparation, state and federal tax filings, and assisted with financial compilations. Amber is well rounded in nonprofit accounting where she has worked to support financial boards as well as prepare and track annual budgets.

In her role, Amber supports the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer across the accounting function including day-to-day accounting tasks, assisting with preparing financials statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assist in managing internal controls, and month-end and year-end closing processes.

Amber is a graduate of the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She resides in Oklahoma with her husband and daughter.
