Anna Wang
Anna is a venture capital investor at GreyMatter Capital specializing in mental healthcare. She supports early-stage behavioral health founders in navigating their go-to-market, operations, policy, and fundraising strategies. Anna has a decade of experience investing across private markets and as a startup operator. In her role as Senior Fellow, Venture Partnerships at the Meadows Institute, she will inform our efforts to further our mission at the intersection of policy, programs, and private investing, advancing the Institute’s broader research in these areas, developing educational content to share inform the mental health community about these opportunities, and organizing events to advance understanding of these matters within the broader mental health ecosystem.
Prior to GreyMatter, Anna was an investor in VC funds and growth equity investments at CPP Investments (a US$430B active pension plan). She was also an infrastructure private equity investor, leading and supporting over $10B of investments globally. Anna was also the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Blueprint Power, a BP-acquired energy tech startup in New York, where she led strategy and new product development in the decarbonization space. She also co-founded and served as the CEO of a climate tech startup. Anna started her career in Telecom, Media, and Technology investment banking at TD Securities.
Driven by a deep personal connection to mental health, Anna is a dedicated advocate, inspired by supporting loved ones through their own mental health challenges. Her passion fuels her commitment to empowering entrepreneurs in the mental healthcare space.
