Ashly Alberto
Ashly comes to the Meadows Institute with more than 19 years of experience leading high-performing fundraising teams and securing transformational philanthropic investments. Prior to joining the Meadows Institute, Ashly served as Senior Director of Development at Technovation, where she designed a multi-year revenue roadmap to support organizational expansion, founded the organization’s first major donor society, and introduced KPI-driven systems that strengthened donor engagement and performance. She also has an established record of securing transformational investments during her tenure as Vice President of Development at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, where she led the organization to meet its $45 million revenue budget, stewarded a historic $7 million corporate foundation gift, and expanded community foundation support.
In her Meadows Institute role, Ashly oversees the Philanthropy team and provides strategic direction for all fundraising and advancement efforts. She partners closely with the Chief Impact Officer to plan and execute the Institute’s multi-year, $100 million growth capital campaign, expand major and principal giving, strengthen institutional fundraising infrastructure, and champion a culture of philanthropy across the organization. She also helps engage senior leadership in donor cultivation and stewardship, while aligning fundraising priorities with programmatic impact across Texas and beyond.
Ashly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Houston and maintains the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential. She resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is passionate about advancing equitable access to high-quality mental health care.
