Casie Wenmohs is a public affairs professional with expertise in advocacy, governmental relations, stakeholder engagement and meeting and event coordination. Casie’s career experience includes roles at Raise Your Hand Texas, the State Bar of Texas and the Texas Department of Transportation; she joined the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute External Affairs team in 2014.
At MMHPI, Casie is a key coordinator of the Institute’s major events, including the statewide Engage & Excel Conference. She also manages many special events and ongoing activities like biannual Board of Directors meetings and all-staff retreats. Casie works extensively with other MMHPI staff members at all levels of the organization as well as with external stakeholders as part of her role.
A longtime Austinite, Casie is devoted to her community. She is past president of the Junior League of Austin, a member of the Leadership Austin Essential Class of 2015 and a 2013 McBee Fellow (Austin Area Research Organization). She has a special interest in education and has dedicated countless hours over the years in support of Austin ISD, Austin Community College, E3 Alliance, the Austin Council of PTAs, Con Mi MADRE, the Terry Foundation Alumni Advisory Board and her three sons’ schools.
Casie is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she received a Bachelor of Journalism degree with highest honors and a master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs.
