Charlie Cavazos
Charlie joined the Meadows Institute with over 33 years of experience in law enforcement. His career includes working within the Community Services Division, managing diverse outreach programs, crime prevention initiatives, and athletic programs for youth with special care needs. Additionally, he acted as the Hispanic Community Outreach Coordinator.
Before joining the Institute, Charlie was the Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement (ABLE) Program Manager at the Texas ABLE Center of Excellence. In his new role, Charlie provides project management of the Texas ABLE Center of Excellence at its new home at the Meadows Institute. As a member of the Health and Public Safety team he supports interdisciplinary projects across teams.
Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Law Enforcement and Police Science from Sam Houston State University. He resides in Fort Worth with his wife and two daughters.
