Emily Church

Chief Impact Officer

Emily Church serves as Chief Impact Officer of the Meadows Institute, an independent, nonpartisan nonprofit working to accelerate mental healthcare so more people can receive effective care when and where they need it. In this role, Emily leads the development and execution of the Meadows Institute’s organizational strategy, guiding its growth and expanding the reach of its work across Texas and nationally. She brings more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, business development, and communications. Prior to joining the Meadows Institute, she served as Senior Principal Gifts Lead at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she focused on transformational philanthropy supporting psychology, psychiatry, neurology, and public health initiatives and helped design and lead a $100 million fundraising initiative for the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute. Earlier in her career, Emily played a leadership role in a $450 million capital campaign for the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and held development positions at Rice University and the University of Houston. Before moving into the nonprofit sector, she worked in advertising in strategic business development roles at Ogilvy & Mather and other national agencies.
