Erin Manske

Project Director for Health and Public Safety

Erin joined the Meadows Institute with over a decade of experience in policy implementation and analysis, data analysis, and project management focusing on improving outcomes for young people and families impacted by the juvenile justice, child welfare, and education systems. Erin started her career as a research analyst working to reduce the number of young people who face out-of-home placement. She led the state of Georgia through a multi-year reform effort that resulted in a 50% reduction in the number of young people placed out-of-home, without any increase in community crime rates. Erin also worked as a consultant to the Juvenile Justice Strategies Team at the Annie E. Casey Foundation. There, she led strategic initiatives by developing performance metrics and analyzing data across sites to reduce youth incarceration, particularly for youth of color. Most recently, Erin worked for Medicaid expanding access to mental health services in K-12 public schools.

In her role at the Institute, Erin provides project coordination across the full scope of Health and Public Safety initiatives.
