Jessamine Von Arx

Project Manager for Health Systems Integration

Jessamine Von Arx, MPP, joined the Meadows Institute with five years of experience in consulting and project management in an array of subject matters including fraud investigation, healthcare compliance, COVID-19 relief and mental health research. Prior to joining the Institute, Jessamine started her career as a forensic accountant at Ernst & Young (EY) for three years. She worked on a multitude of investigations and healthcare-related engagements. Jessamine led engagements and managed teams for two of those three years.

After leaving EY, Jessamine enrolled in graduate school at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. She received her master’s degree in public policy in May with a concentration in social policy. Jessamine went back to school to pursue her passion of advocating for more access to effective mental health services. While in graduate school, Jessamine also worked in mental health and eating disorder treatment research at the Minnesota Center for Eating Disorders Research. Her work included studying the effectiveness of treatment and weight-based bias in the healthcare system. Jessamine has been a research assistant with Meadows Institute since May 2022 and has primarily worked with the Health Systems Integration team.

In her role at the Meadows Institute, Jessamine works on the Health Systems Integration Team as a project manager. Jessamine is focused on integrating behavioral health into primary healthcare settings. She is charged with following the lifecycle of projects and managing deliverables to external groups.

Jessamine has a Masters in Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Babson College. Jessamine is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and lives with her dog, Maggie.
