Jessica Rohr, PhD

Jessica Rohr received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Kentucky, where she studied the impact of trauma on the development of different psychiatric illnesses. She finished her training at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she worked for several years before starting a private practice. She then worked as a clinician-researcher at The Menninger Clinic, where she developed programming on inpatient and outpatient units for mothers. At Houston Methodist, she is the Director of Women’s Mental Health where she develops programming and training opportunities in the women’s mental health space, as well as conducts and disseminates research. Jessica has a record of federal funding and numerous peer-reviewed publications, and is a regular contributor to consumer-focused media discussing women’s mental health issues (e.g., YahooNews, Lifehacker.com, SiriusXM’s Dr. Radio). She is certified in perinatal mental health.
