Kate Ryan

Project Coordinator, Center for Health System Transformation

Kate Ryan, MLS, is a project coordinator for the Center for Health System Transformation. In her role at the Institute, she assists in project planning, coordination, and management of projects with a specific focus on veterans and their families. Since joining the Institute, Kate has contributed to the development of a Military Cultural Competency curriculum, a white paper on the landscape of veteran mental health in Texas, and coordinated stakeholder efforts to bring a novel mental health training to Austin, Dallas, and Houston mental health organizations. Kate received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Texas A&M University in 2022. She then attended Texas A&M University School of Law to earn a Master of Legal Studies with a concentration in Health Law, Policy, and Management. As the spouse of an active-duty military member, she has a passion for advocating for military and veteran families. Kate currently lives on Fort Sill Army Base in Oklahoma with her husband and her dog. In her free time, you can find her in the great outdoors, crafting, or reading.
