Kate Ryan

Kate Ryan, MLS, is the project manager for the Meadows Institute’s Adult Systems of Care team. In her role, Kate helps translate project priorities into action by coordinating cross-functional work across multidisciplinary teams, managing timelines and deliverables, supporting proposals and project deliverables, and maintaining momentum across complex initiatives. She works closely with both internal teams and external partners to advance initiatives that increase access, improve quality, and support more sustainable mental health care systems.

Since joining the Institute, Kate has contributed to a diverse portfolio of projects, including the Behavioral Health Emergency Response Initiative, Measurement-Informed Care trainings, Youth Crisis Outreach Team initiatives, regional community needs assessments, and many Texas Veterans + Family Alliance projects in Austin, Dallas, and Houston.

Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Texas A&M University in 2022 and later received a Master of Legal Studies from Texas A&M University School of Law, with a concentration in Health Law, Policy, and Management. She is the spouse of an Army veteran and considers it an honor to contribute to efforts that strengthen mental health systems and improve care for veterans and their families.

Kate calls the Texas panhandle home, where she lives with her husband and dog. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, crafting, and reading.
