Maryana Geller

Chief Financial and Administrative Officer

Maryana comes to the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute with over 15 years of experience leading financial operations. Prior to joining the Meadows Institute, Maryana was Chief Financial Officer at the Child Mind Institute, which, during her tenure, more than doubled in size to over 400 employees and an annual operating budget of over $130mm. Maryana was responsible for overhauling their financial infrastructure, which created efficiencies, improved the accuracy and flexibility of reporting, and allowed the organization to scale.

Before Child Mind, Maryana’s previous experience leading financial and administrative functions included roles as Controller at the Tikvah Fund and Director of Finance and Business Affairs at AKA NYC. As part of the Philanthropies team at Geller Advisors (no relation), she provided outsourced CFO services to clients including a multi-billion-dollar private foundation, a national presidential campaign, and various other not-for-profit organizations. She either directly supervised or advised teams with responsibility over contracts, human resources, grant compliance, and other duties.

In her role, Maryana leads the Meadows Institute’s finance, accounting, and administrative operations functions. She is responsible for the oversight and evaluation of financial and administrative policies, procedures, and systems that deliver timely and accurate reporting and comply with regulations. She also provides financial analysis to inform business strategy in support of the Meadows Institute’s mission.

Maryana holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MFA from Columbia University.
