Social Media and Content Manager

Michelle comes to the Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute with five years of experience in public health communications, digital content strategy, and community-centered storytelling. She has a strong background in translating complex health information into accessible, engaging content that supports health equity and public understanding. Prior to joining the Meadows Institute, Michelle developed communications and digital content across academic, nonprofit, and federal organizations where she supported public health initiatives through social media management, content creation, and audience engagement strategies.

In her Meadows Institute role, Michelle develops and manages social media content, amplifies research and policy initiatives, and fosters meaningful engagement with diverse audiences to advance mental health awareness and policy impact.

Michelle has a Master of Public Health in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences and a certificate in the Social Determinants of Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science, with a minor in Medical Anthropology, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Outside of work, she enjoys going to music festivals, traveling to new cities, and exploring diverse cuisines. She currently resides in North Carolina.
