Rachel O’Connell, MEd, has six years of experience in Nonprofit Leadership and Management. Prior to joining the Institute, Rachel was Program Design and Implementation Manager at Connective, which uses civic technology and agile design methodologies to make social service programs more accessible and human-centered. In this role, she managed multiple programs totaling more than $400M in community distribution. Rachel’s journey in the nonprofit sector began with education access initiatives, particularly focused on fostering equity and accessibility. In her role at The Hackett Center for Mental Health, Rachel supports the success of the Wood Youth Mental Health Program as well as provides support to the project managing staff at the center.

Rachel holds a Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Houston, Texas with her partner and her very spirited puppy.
