Summer Prentiss, MA, holds over five years of experience in nonprofit program management. Prior to joining the Meadows Institute, Summer worked at the Central Texas Food Bank as the Children’s Program Manager overseeing four child nutrition programs. In that role, she developed strategic community partnerships, advocating for communities experiencing hunger throughout central Texas. Summer has a strong background in developing sustainable program models and navigating federal nutrition policy. In her role at the Institute, Summer supports the Child and Family Wellness team’s work in the K-12 and higher education spaces.

Summer has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Oklahoma State University as well as a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Oklahoma City University. Summer resides in Cedar Park, TX with her partner and their two pups.
