Summer Prentiss
Summer Prentiss, MA, PMP, brings more than seven years of experience in nonprofit program and project management, with a proven track record of building sustainable systems and advocating for underserved communities.
Prior to joining the Meadows Institute, Summer served as Children’s Program Manager at the Central Texas Food Bank, where she oversaw four child nutrition programs and cultivated strategic community partnerships to advance food access across central Texas. Her work there deepened her expertise in sustainable program design, federal nutrition policy, and community-centered advocacy.
At the Meadows Institute, Summer manages the Minding College Minds initiative and plays a central role in strengthening the organization’s project management infrastructure — standardizing processes, fostering collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, and keeping leadership informed with regular progress updates.
Summer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management from Oklahoma City University. She is based in Austin, Texas.
