Wesley Taylor
Wesley joined the Meadows Institute with over eight years of experience in government contracts, financial analysis, and oversight, most recently serving as a Contract Monitor at the Texas Department of State Health Services. In this role, Wesley was responsible for ensuring contract compliance, analyzing complex financial data, and advising senior leadership on regulatory risks and the impact of evolving legislation. He conducted detailed investigations into non-compliance, assessed financial reports, and supported strategic decision-making to ensure operational integrity. Prior to that, Wesley held roles as a Grant Specialist and Accountant, managing government, non-profit, and university grants, to ensure fiscal compliance, as well as overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions.
In his Institute role, Wesley supports the work of the broader Contracts Team by liaising with internal management and project team staff along with external stakeholders and partners in the coordination and execution of contracts submissions across several Institute teams.
Wesley holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Certificate in Business from The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Texas Contract Manager, demonstrating his commitment to uphold and maintain knowledge of Grants and Contracts. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and exploring the vibrant local community.
