Fort Worth mental health nonprofit launches youth trauma and grief collaborative

August 24, 2026 – The Meadows Institute is featured in a story by the Fort Worth Report highlighting our partnership with Soar, a nonprofit branch of the real estate investment firm M2G Ventures, to launch the Tarrant County Trauma and Grief Collaborative.

Over the next three years, the collaborative plans to train 180 school and community clinicians across Tarrant County in Trauma and Grief Component Therapy and Multidimensional Grief Therapy. Soar also plans to raise $1 million to support the ongoing work of our Trauma and Grief (TAG) Center as our team delivers this specialized training.

Julie Kaplow, executive director of the TAG Center, said: “The support we’ve seen from Soar has been unmatched in terms of them being so motivated and determined to ensure all 180 school and community clinicians across Tarrant County get the training that they need.”
