The Dallas Morning News featured the Meadows Institute in an editorial on how mental health facilities, especially those with inpatient care in underserved regions, are essential for providing communities with quality health care and eliminating the need for people to travel long distances to access treatment.
Meadows Institute President & CEO Andy Keller pointed out that the Legislature has approved more than $378 million to expand inpatient psychiatric care in the state, which includes funding to staff new and existing state hospitals, operate the new Dallas facility, and support community mental health centers.
