‘The house is on fire’: Sam Garrison intensifies behavioral health focus ahead of Speakership

Now in its sixth year, the conference brings together business leaders and policymakers for two days of discussions centered on mental health, workforce resilience, and long-term sustainability strategies.

Meadows Institute President & CEO Andy Keller spoke on a panel alongside Sam Garrison, the incoming Speaker of the House in the Florida Legislature, and Mark Wilson, president and CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Foundation. As part of his remarks, Andy spoke about the need to improve 911 response for both law enforcement and for people experiencing a mental health crisis.
