Shield Ready, a 24 hour course, prepares new, aspiring, and even seasoned officers to manage the stresses of policing, strengthen family and support connections, and build a sustainable career from day one. More than survival skills, it’s about thriving in the badge.

Shield Ready is designed for those at the very start of their policing journey and beyond: pre-cadets, academy cadets, newly sworn officers, and those ready to grow their career in public safety no matter how long they have been a part of the police workforce. This course equips participants with the tools they need not only to succeed in their first years on the job, but also to sustain a healthy, rewarding career over the long term.
