September 10, 2026 – The Meadows Institute is featured in a story by Westfair Business Journal highlighting our partnership with the Open Door Care Network to implement the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) in its school-based health centers in Port Chester, New York.
The effort represents the first integration of CoCM in a school-based setting in New York State and will expand behavioral healthcare for students in predominantly low-income communities.
Clare McNutt, the senior vice president for health system integration, said: “The Meadows Institute is thrilled to partner with the Open Door Care Network to support the implementation of the Collaborative Care Model in a school-based setting in New York.
Mental illness is a pediatric illness, and the generosity of the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation will help bring access to mental health care to schoolchildren who benefit from early identification of needs when treatment is most effective.
