Hill Country Floods
Resources & Information
Detail page
The devastating floods that raged through the Hill Country on July 4, 2025, had a far-reaching impact on people across the region and the state. To support the ongoing mental health needs of children and families who were affected by the disaster, the Meadows Institute has created this hub for resources and information.
The Meadows Institute would like to express its deep appreciation for our partners who helped support this work: Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country through the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, H.E. Butt Family Foundation, Sarofim Foundation, The Cullen Foundation, New York Life Foundation, and the Mavs Foundation.

Rapid Mental Health Needs Assessment
To help Kerr County make investments that support recovery, expand access to care, and strengthen the community’s long-term resilience, the Meadows Institute, with the generous support of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and the H.E. Butt Foundation, conducted a rapid mental health needs assessment. The assessment identifies clear, actionable recommendations for philanthropic investment, including trauma and grief training needs.
