Project Details
The Tarrant County Executive Learning Community (ELC) convenes 13 school districts representing 197,035 students through monthly sessions to address the current challenges in supporting student and teacher mental health.
This ELC is part of a broader effort launched by the Meadows Institute to equip districts across Texas with evidence-based tools to build effective, comprehensive school mental health systems. Participating regions include Tarrant County, Northeast Texas, San Antonio, and North Texas, encompassing 52 districts and representing nearly half a million students. These learning communities will set the tone and lead the way for Texas school districts interested in implementing best practices in school mental health.
The Tarrant County Executive Learning Community is made possible through partnership with Region 11 Education Service Center and the generous support of the Rainwater Charitable Foundation, the Sid Richardson Foundation, and the Morris Family Foundation.
